- Lauryn learned to read when she was very young. Lauryn fell in love with reading and language arts when she was little, because her parents would constantly read to her. Her parents were very into reading and she remembers them picking up books to read. Most people are taught to read at home at a very young age or in school, of course reading when you're two or three really isn't reading and it is basically memorizing shapes and colors. when you get to be five or six you start to learn basic chunks of words and kind-of sentences. progressively over the years students are put through a series of testing and studying and learning to master reading. Lauryn thinks people read because, it gives people a sense of imagination and creativity. When someone is reading a great book they can picture the character in any way they want really. In order to be a good reader you have to have an open mind and the ability to pay attention to what you are reading. If you aren't paying attention to what you are reading then what is the point of reading it? Reading comes easy for Lauryn, because she has been reading from a very young age, spending countless summers and hours reading good horror or mystery books. Lauryn struggles at reading when she is given something she is not interested in. She will often ten to read things she is not interested in slower or put off reading that book until she actually has too. Lauryn chooses books usually involving mystery or horror or comedy, or something that just stands out. Lauryn usually reads every night or every night, when she has time. In general Lauryn loves to read and will continue to read.
Lauryn is a writer. Lauryn learned to write at a young age also but it didn't come easy to her at first. She struggled to find creativity in writing stories but that soon stopped. People learn to write simply out of creativity an open mindedness. Nobody wants to read a boring story with no creativity or possibilities. People write to express their feelings and emotions or just simply expressing creativity. Lauryn generally likes writings including emotion and heart. Lauryn is generally pretty open about the writings that she reads, but if it doesn't fit her certain taste in literature she probably won't read it. Constructive criticism helps Lauryn when writing, or helpful words of advice. Lauryn usually doesn't write that much at home, but when she does she cant stop writing and will write super long stories or essays. But, in general, Lauryn loves to write and will not stop.
